8 lbs. Light Malt Extract8 oz. crushed Biscuit malt
½ lb. Corn Sugar1 packet of Fermentis Safale S-05 dry ale yeast

1 oz. Chinook hops 1 oz. Centennial Hops
2 oz. Simcoe Hops1 oz. Summit Hops
1 oz. Warrior hops

•Steep the 8 oz. of Biscuit malt in 1 gallon of water (150˚F) for 20-25 minutes.

•To your brew pot add the following:
The liquid from the steeped grains.
Approximately 1.0 gallon of water
8 lb. Light malt extract syrup
½ lb. corn sugar

•Bring all of the above to a boil and then add the following hops at these time intervals:
Watch out. Once it begins to boil, it froths quite a bit and a boil over on the stove is likely if you don’t pay attention!

0.50 oz. Simcoe Hop pellets15 minutes

0.50 oz. Centennial Hop pellets45 minutes
0.50 oz. Simcoe Hop pellets45 minutes

Boil for an additional 15 Minutes so the total boil time is 60 minutes

•Remove the pot from the stove and add 2 gallons of cold water to an already sterilized
primary fermenter that holds 6.5 to 7 gallons.
•Pour in the hot wort from your brew pot and add enough additional cold water bring the total volume up to 5 gallons.
•When the wort temperature is under 80˚ F pitch your Safale S-05 dry yeast.
•Ferment in the primary for 1 week to 10 days or until the fermentation is complete.
•Transfer to a carboy and Dry Hop for 1 week with

•Bottle with ¾ cup priming sugar (corn sugar).
